How do I count the number of contacts in Outlook?
I have read some previous answers, and one says Outlook does not support
having a column numbering the contacts.
The other answer says the count shows on the "Status Bar".
I am familiar with Outlook but don't know what is called the "status bar".
I don't know where to look for the count, or even if it's possible to find it
without exporting the contacts to an Excel file.
Thank you in advance.

The Status bar is the one at the bottom of the screen that you see when you
click View > Status bar
