Was running machine with XP Pro w/Office 2007, now running machine with Vista
Ult w/Office 2007.  When I copy over the NK2 file onto the new box,
auto-complete does not work.  The directory didn't even have any NK2 files
prior to the copy, even after running Outllok for a couple of days.

Anyone have any tips on how to get the old NK2 file to work with the new
machine?

Thanks in advance!

Is it in the %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook folder?  Did you name it the same
as your mail profile name?  Perhaps this will help:

That is correct.  I did move it into the directory and made sure it was named
the same as the current profile.

The path to this file is quite different in Vista. If you try to use the
same path you did in XP, you shouldn't even be able to access it. State the
path you used.

I guess in fustration I missed the that it goes into the AppData\ROAMING\....
directory.  Moved it into there and all fixed.
Thanks again for your help!

Bingo. You got it. The old path is now just a junction, and you should have
gotten an Access Denied warning when trying to access it.
