I can't seem to get my contacts synced. Get support code 86000108. Everything
else syncs fine. Had problems with Outlook 2002 addressbook (email fields not
filling in) that I corrected before this problem began.

Tryied repairing outlook, and updating to activesync 4.2 but can't seem to
resolve. Help please!

Ask in an ActivSync group. This is not an Outlook issue.

Thanks Russ. Actually it was an Outlook issue. Seems the pst file was
corrupt. Ran scanpst to repair and the problem was resolved.

Hopes this adds to info database.

Any more detail to that error message? A corrupt PST usually has other
symptoms than that.

Yes there was another symptom that helped id the problem.

I'd placed a dummy contact on the pda and looked for it on  the computer
Contacts after each attempted corrective measure. Thinking I may just be not
finding it I tried to sort Contacts by Category. That's when an error message
came up suggesting the corrupt pst file.

When I corrected the pst file the pda synced Contacts and the 86000108
(Problem on Desktop) problem disappeared.
