"Detect & Repair" has deleted my contact list...HELP!

Rather sparse on details, aren't you?
Detect and Repair never touches your data. It is still where it always was.
In some circumstances, Detect and Repair might create a new profile, which
would create a new empty data file. Your old file is where it always was.
Just open it in Outlook. Or open one of the frequent backups you make.
