I created my own vcard, with all my contact details, home and office.  When I
forward the vcard to myself and open to verify everything is right, the
checkmark next to this is mailing address is checked off in the business
address, when my original shows the home address.  The email 2 is blank when
I had my home email there in the original, and the notes field is now blank
when I had text there.  Please advise soonest!!!

If you want all the data in a contact, don't send a vCard. Instead, create a new message using rich-text format, make sure your own address is set for rich-text, and insert the contact as an item in that message.
