Outlook 2003 don't have import/export under "file" in menu dropdow

Hello - I am trying to import a contact list from excel and the instructions
say to go to File - Import/export, etc. My problem is - I don't have a
choice for import/export. It just isn't there. It isn't even a matter of it
being grayed out - it just isn't on the dropdown menu.

If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

State which view you are using.
State whether you installed Outlook's importers and exporters from the
Office CD.

Hi Russ,

thank you so much for responding.

I have tried import/export in every view and it wasn't there in any of them
- I will pop in my Microsoft office cd and re install outlook..... is that
what I am suppose to do?

I will let you know how it turns out.
