Distribution List Question

An administrative admin needs to create a distribution list in the
boss's Contact list. His Contacts do not show up as a choice when she
goes to "Select Members" from Show Names from the"
Not sure if this is an Exchange question or an Outlook question. I
appreciate your help or redirection if needed.

Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2000 environment

Right click the Boss' Contacts folder | Properties | Outlook Address Book |
set it to Show an an Outlook address book.

Thanks for the reply.
When I right click the Boss' Contacts folder | Properties
Outlook Address Book is not a choice from the admin's computer. If I
do the same on the admin's own Contacts Outlook Addressbook is a
choice and "Show this folder as an email address book" is already
checked.
I checked the same on the boss computer and "Show this folder as an
email address book" is already checked on his computer. They each see
their own Contacts but the admin needs to see the boss's Contacts as a
choice to create the distribution list in the boss's Contact list.

If not, open it. File |Open | other user's folder.

Yes. She can see and manage his entire mailbox. Does it matter that
this situation exists in an Exchange environment. The admin is not
viewing the boss's contacts via a pst file.

If she clicks on the boss' Contacts folder and then makes a New DL, doesn't
that work?
