How do I reattach Journal Notes to Contact after name change?

If a contact's name is changed, the journal notes become unattached, but they
are still in the journal. How do I reattach them so they show up when I pull
up the Contact?

open the journal item and add the contact's new name to the contact field in
the lower right of the form.
