remove a bad email address from a "to" popup listing

I start typing a name in the "to" line of Outlook e-mail.  The popup listing
of possible addresses has a bad address in it for a name I want to reach and
who *is* in my contacts properly.  How do I get rid of the bad address in the
popup?

Posted here several times a day. Remove individual addresses from the
autocompletion cache by highlighting the entry when presented in the
suggested names list (use your arrow key to migrate to the entry) and then
hitting your Delete key before you tab out of the field. To clear the entire
cache, follow the instructions here:
