Click it and you'll see options that would allow you to print envelopes for selected contacts.
You might also want to check whether the Properties dialog for the BCM folder has the "Show in Outlook Address Book" box checked. However, the Word interface to Outlook's address book has long been a bit on the flakey side.

Sue, you are a genius. Checking "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book"
did the trick. The business contact database is now available in Word as it
was in the previous version and putting addresses on envelopes for single
contacts is easy without having to go through a mail merge rigmarole. Thanks!
