I am using Outlook 2003 and the option above is greyed out. I have added this
Outlook address book to the profile, but it is still greyed out. I have tried
assigning the user explicit owner rights to the mailbox and the contacts
folder and I have tried recreating the profile, but this option is still
greyed out.

I know that adding the Outlook address book to the profile normally enables
this option, but I have done this for this one user and the option is still
unavailable.

Any help with this matter would be appreciated.

Did you do this from within Outlook or from Control Panel's Mail applet?  If
the former, did you stop and restart Outlook after configuring the Outlook
Address Book service?
