I am trying to create an easy link in my message body that will open a "new
message" that sends to a distributiongroup contact that I have created in our
public folder share.

Is their an easy way to accomplish this?

The easiest way is to create a link as follows:

  mailto:theSMTP@domain.com

All you need to know is the SMTP of the distribution list.

"mailto" is the "protocol" this link uses. It tells the browser that what
you want is to create an email message, and that you want it addressed to
the email address separated from the "mailto" by a colon.

Another way is to use a web page like the following:

The mailtool:
http://www.webreference.com/js/column70/3.html

I hope this helps.

In re-reading your message, I see that you are Probably talking
about a personal Distribution list that you have created in
possibly a public folder.

If this is the case, I do not know the answer for you.
