I support a small SBS 2003 domain and have recently moved their various
contact folder into a shared contacts folder in the Public Folders on the
server.  For three of the users this has worked fine and the shared folder
appears under 'Other Contacts' in the Contacts area of their Outlook 2003.  I
have set it as an Outlook Address Book and it is the default for contact
storage.

On the 4th PC (used by the MD - it would be!), although the shared contacts
is set as the default and is the one that appears when creating a new email
message, there is no shortcut under 'Other Contacts' - indeed 'Other
Contacts' does nto exist as a region of the shortcut bar on this machine.  I
think that this may be down to the order I did things on this particular
machine.

Your assistance would be appreciated.  Incidentally all the workstations are
running Windows Vista Business (if it helps or makes a difference).

Make sure the problem user has that folder under Public Folders\Favorites.

Thank you Sue.

Only now visited customer and sorted this out.  It was already in 'Public
Folders\Favorites'.  I just needed to right-click and 'Add to Other Contacts'.

I feel so foolish ......

Thanks again
