The contacts that are in my contact folder on the left side of outlook are
not the same contacts tha appear when I go to send an email.  A different
contact lists appears and I cannot figure a way to get my contacts that I use
on a daily basis into my email address list.  My computer recently crashed
and prior to that everything was just fine.  Since everything has been
restored, I cannot get the correct lilst to appearin the email.  The correct
contacts are shown when I click contacts but not when I send email.  I know
this sounds confusing.

It's not confusing. It happens all the time. It is, however, impossible to
provide a solution without knowing your Outlook version. There are several
posts here that answer this question, so I suspect you can find one that
matches your version. You simply need to configure your Outlook Address Book
to display the correct Contacts Folder. You also need to determine whether
you have more than one Contacts Folder at this point (use Folder List view
to do that), because if you migrated your data incorrectly you may have more
folders than you want.
