The closest you can come is simply to use Word's Insert Address function.
Good luck finding it, though. They really buried it this time. You will need
to add it to Word's QAT, and you'll only find it in the "All Commands"
section.
Do you ever get the feeling Microsoft no longer believes in the integration
of the applications in the Office Suite? There seems to be less and less
with each new version.

I was quite accustomed to using the New Letter to Contact in 2003 version,
however now I am at a loss to quickly develope a letter without typing all
information (Address, Date, Closing, ect...). 2007 Word does not seem to be
user friedndly and I truely miss the ability to create letters on the fly.
Any help would be gratly appreciated.

I looked for "Insert Address " function as you suggested in the "All
Commands" prompt, I didn't see it. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place
though I don't think so, could it be names something else. Another thing I
noticed, I had to add the "Save As" function inorder to save a document under
a different name. I am not overly thrilled with the changes in 2007, it
would seem to me MS is trying to force the move to a paperless business
world, but my customers are not as willing to convert to the digital domain.

Are you looking in the customization dialog for the QAT in Word? It's called
"Address Book..."

OK, that cuts down on some key strokes, I still have to add Job title,
company name and closing information. I have to say I liked the way 2003
worked over this piece of trash.

I understand. Integration between Outlook and Word has become more a joke
than a reality. Have you asked in a Word group whether you can customize how
the Insert Address function is controlled? We never get any useful
information on how that is done. Word users usually get it before we do.

Could you share with me how you were able to get New Letter to a Contact to
work in MS Office Outlook 2003. I have been trying for some time and all I
get with my templates is the address and name. The body of my template is
never included. I have created the template. Entered the data fields I
wanted merged in and save with LTR or Letter in the name. I see my template
in the list, but when I select it, I just get the contact's name & address.
