I had to rebuild windows and reinstall software. I was able to save a copy
of my pst file and moved it to my new default directory. I see all the
contacts in Outlook 2003, but when I click the address book Icon on the tool
bar I get the message
"The address list cound not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened. It may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions..."
When I type a name in the box to the right of the book icon I get a name not
found message

Hmmm, try removing all the Contact folders mentioned here: Tools menu >
Email accounts > View/change existing address books > Click Next > Highlight
Outlook Address Book > Click Change
Then reset your current Contact folder as an address book
