When I put in a new company, the "File As" field puts what it wants to sometimes truncating part of the name and will not put it as I would like it. How can I fix this? It makes it difficult to look up the correct business We would need to know your Outlook version and the properties you designated for the File As... field. It makes it difficult to look up the correct business Outlook v2003. As far as properties, I don't quite understand but I can give you an example of what its doing. Look at see what you set: Tools > Options > Preferences > Contact Options > Default "File As" order. SignatureRuss Valentine [MVP-Outlook] > Outlook v2003.
