I have imported contacts from an .xls file.

Outlook 2000 > Outlook 2003 on a different machine.

Fairly sure i have mapped correctly.

Contacts seem ok, there is a recognised email address,
however when i bring up a new email msg and go to contacts in the drop down
fields no addresses appear, nor when i type a name in does it find one.

Any help appreciated.
Coran.

I got this sorted. I had assumed that it could be automatically looked up,
didnt realise i had to click this option under properties.

Never use export or import when transferring data from one instance of
Outlook to another.  There's no need and you lose data.
