When I try to drag a specific single contact from either my Companies shared
contacts to my personal contacts, or vise versa attempting to make a
duplicate in the other folder, it completly removes it from the original
folder. How can duplicate the contact into the other folder?

Hold down the control key as you drag it or use the Copy to Folder command.
