Hiding Business Cards

Is there any way of hiding the business cards in Outlook 2007?

I use the notes box a lot, and it's a bit annoying that a large part of the
screen is taken up by information that's already being shown on the left hand
side.

The only way to do that would be to design your own custom contact form, which would lose some of the functionality of the first page.
