Distribution and Group Lists

Contact List is sorted by Last Name but all Distribution
and Group lists are sorted by First Name.  How can I
change them all to stay at Last Name?  "Mable"

I'm not sure I understand your terms. What is the difference between a
Distribution List and a Group List? What Outlook version are you using?
