Hi - I came into my office yesterday to find my computer dead - I think the
motherboard is done with. I took the hard drive out and popped it into an
enclosure and plugged it into my notebook. So far so good - I can read all
files/folders. The problem is I'm trying to locate all of my Outlook .pst
files so I can restore all of my contacts, appts, emails, etc to my notebook
but can not locate these files for the life of me. I'm searching, I'm looking
at articles and just can't find the files. I'm using XP and 'm supposed to
find in under D&S/NAME/Local Settings....  Trouble is,  there is no Local
Settings folder let alone the rest of the path. When I search looking for
contacts.pst the results come up empty. So, two Q's - what's the mystery
behind finding this file and because I did not export the file prior to my
computer going belly up on me can I restore it easily one located? Thanx in
advance.
