Create a temp category, select the newly imported contacts, add them to that
category. You can remove them from the category right away. The idea seems
to be that they need to be "modified and saved" after being imported for the
b'day-cal thing to happen.

I am using Outlook 2003 and XP
Recently I imported my contacts from another computer. Some of those
contacts contain birthdays. However after importing these birthdays do not
appear in the calendar. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks

Brian, thanks for your response. However, Nick didn't multi-post. I had the
same question as him and I just did not see his entry. I will try that
approach as well.
