Outlook - adding contacts

I hope someone can shed some light here for me. When I try to add a new
contact in Outlook, the program errors out and shuts down. Has anyone had
this problem before? It was working fine but now I cannot keep my contacts
up to date. I need some help!

Version of outlook? Did you try detect and repair?
