Unable to view a vcard sent from 2003 to 2007??

Friend sent me contact info via vcard.  When I opened it (it just looked like
an envelope-type attachment), there was no info.

I understand when sending from higher version to lower version (don't like
it, but!) - but why can't I open a vcard sent from Outlook 2003?

You should be able to. How did he attach it? Ask him to resend it as an item
and see how it goes this time.
