In Outlook 3.0 Regardless of how I set the sort up for the contact list, when
I try and build the distribution lists, the names appear 1st name first, last
name second, even though my contact book is last name first. How can I change
this member list to appear as last name order or is it a bug?

What version of Outlook are you using? There isn't a version 3 of Outlook.
The versions are 97 (8.0), 98 (8.5), 2000 (9.0), 2002 (10.0), 2003 (11.0),
2007 (12.0)

I am running 10.6  I figured it out though.  When creating contacts you must
go into tools, email options, email accts and change the sort (view).
Thanks for the respnse
