On Outlook 2003 when I would get a distribution list as an attachment send to
me all I had to do was drag the list to my contacts.  Now for some reason I
can't do the same thing for 2007.

Can anyone help me on this?

This is the message I get when I try to drag the list into my contacts:

Cannot copy the items.  The message interface has returned an unknown error.
If the problem persists restart Outlook.

The first time it happen I did a restart it still would give me the same
message.  Also the person that email me her distribution list also has 2007.

Our computer center department also reinstalled my Outlook thinking that
would solve the problem, it still continues with the same thing.

I don't understand what you mean by new mail profile.
