Gordon, OK, sounds good and must explain my posting problems. Could you tell
me how to use the newsreader instead of the web interface? My apologies, I
haven't used news readers (at least I don't think so). Will it notify me by
email when I receive replies?

Did you read the links I posted?

No, that's the only disadvantage, as opposed to the many many advantages,
over web-based forums. But you can set them (or most of them) to show
replies to your messages when you enter a particular group....

Gordon Thanks. Figured out how to setup the newsgroup before seeing you last
reply. I must have done something right to get to this outlook contact area.
Now I'm wondering if it will send me an email from any replies? Maybe I'll
figure that one out also and start a new thread (if that's what they are
called in a newsgroup) ?
