Currently I have over 6000 contacts, many listed incorrectly in the file-as
field as "First Name, Last Name". I want to change the file-as field for all
contacts to "First Name, Last Name (Company Name)" Doing them individually
will take too many hours, and I have tried to seek out a solution of my own,
nothing seems to work. Please help!

Brian,

Thank you so much, that program looks like the answer. However, I cannot get
it working. I am running XP, so it should be compatible, but I downloaded
another piece of software by the guy who wrote that, Peter, called "Edit
Contacts", and that had the same problem. It installed fine, but did not have
an .exe that came with it, hence no way to run the program. I surfed around a
little bit and tried to find something similar that might work but had no
luck. Please let me know if you have any further wisdom on the subject.

Hey - looks like a great piece of software, but I can't get it working. I
install it, but no .exe to actually run the program exists?

Hello Gavin,

it is an add-in for Outlook and has no exe.

It is necessary to close Outlook before installing the tool. Please
have a look to the taskmanager if Outlook is really closed and no
process named "Outlook.exe" is running.

On some machines there are problems to load the add-ins. If no message
box appears after you restartet Outlook please have a look on "Help" -
> "About Microsoft Office Outlook" -> "Disabled Items".
