My Samsung i730 died and went to restore with my spb backup. It didn't
restore my calender or contacts. I went to active sync with my laptop and the
sync wiped out outlooks calender and contact file. How do I restore my
original backup with my calender and contacts?

Sync operations make permanent changes. Anyone who uses synchronizations
keeps current backups of their data so they can restore from backup. That's
what you must do.

I did back it up with Spb Backup, however it didn't restore my calender or
phone book that's why I tried to sync it to get that info which had been
synced previously through active sync and outlook.

Please read the post and comprehend the info before answering.

Thank You!

Comprehend what? You told us nothing. Who know what Spb backup is or what
you did?
Any proper backup would contain your data. Please learn how to post:

Russ isn't referring to backing up the PDA, he's referring to backing up the
Outlook data store on the PC.  If you don't have a backup of that, you're
screwed.
