In Outlook 2007.
I am not able to look up my contacts by company name:(
If i open a new message window, then click on the address book. In here I
can search by company name if I´m looking in the exchange servers contacts.
However when i choose to search in my personal contacts i dont have this
option:(
Is there any way to get this?
Since i need to send e-mails to either multiple or all persons in a company.
The workaround i have now is the "Find a contact" button in the toolbar,
this way i can searc by companyname, however i can only sent to one contact
at a time & i need to open the contact first to do so:(
Or in contact´s, i can sort them by companyname, but when i highlight more
than one contact i loose the ability to sent them e-mails:(
Please help me out.
Thanks in advance:0)

After selecting them, click Actions>New Message to Contact

Hi Brian thanks for your help:0)
But is there anyway to write the company name in the "To" field & then make
it recognize the company by pressing check names? or do i need to create a
distribution-list for that?
Finally, can i search for "companyname" in the address book(in a new mail
window) under my personal contacts?
Outlook is set to check names, first in the global address book & secondary
in my contacts.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

No.

What don't you like about the method I suggested? DLs are not very robust.

Not that I'm aware.

That's not right. You can easilly send an email and even do a mailmerge to
a whole company of Contacts. This can be very useful to know! Here's how:
Groups or sort by Company, select them all, then drag to the Sent items
folder (or any email folder). Or to mailmerge, select them and use Tools |
Mailmerge.
