Hello,

I have an HTC TyTn II running Windows Mobile 6 ans I installed a
software that has put a shorcut on my today screen. The problem is
that it also has removed the shortcuts available thru the 2 hotkeys at
the bottom of the screen which were: "CALENDAR" and "CONTACTS".

see the picture here: http://img.clubic.com/photo/00FA000000448150.jpg
and look at the bottom of the screen: CALENDAR CONTACTS.

I was using a lot these hotkeys and now they have been replaced by a
status bar with only the "virtual keyboard" icon on it...

How can I get my hotkeys shorcuts back ???

Thank you,

Thomas.

Have you tried reassigning them in the "buttons" section of the settings?

If a soft reset does not help, uninstall the software that caused the
softkey to disappear.

Ask in the WIndows Mobil newsgroup microsoft.public.pocketpc.  This
newsgroup is for Office Outlook contact questions.

Likewise. I always catch things when it's just a bit too late.

Thanx for your replies. I did not uninstall the program, I did not re-
assigned the keys, but I did a soft reboot of my pocket PC... and it
worked.

As the newly installed software modified the today screen, the problem
was probably due to a display refreshing bug.
