How do I increase Distribution List limits?

When I try to add another distribution list, I keep getting the following
message from Micrsoft Office Outlook

"This distribution list has reached the maximun size for your network e-mail
server. No new members could be added."

How can I increase the limits on my network e-mail server?

Not an Outlook issue. Those limits are provided by your mail server provider
which is...?

Is this for an Exchange server? If so, spit your DLs into smaller ones.
