Unsuccessful importing of .csv file to Outlook Contacts

The actual importing went well, and the first name, last name, and email
address are appropriately filed as they are supposed to be.  However, when
composing a new email and clicking on the contacts.......I do see the
contacts in the address book, but when click/selecting them to go to the
"TO:"  address line, it does not move them.  Would anyone one know why?

Importing Contacts often fails to validate and resolve the email addresses.
You must do that manually by opening and saving each Contact. There is also
third party software that may help:
