Is there a way to import or copy a distribution list from another person in another company into my Outlook 2003 contact list ? They sent me an email with an attachment that they saved from their Outlook contact list as an RTF file. But I cannot copy the file or import it into my contact list.  SignatureJack Tobin IT Director Works fine as long as the DL is inserted as an Outlook Item into an RTF message. An attachment won't work. Most people get tripped up by the fact that they don't use the "Insert Item" command because they can't find it. That location varies with each version and each editor. So far, we only know your version, not your editor. I haven't run Outlook 2003 for years, but it should be very obvious what email editor you are using when you examine your email options.
