That would be XP. And after going to Control Panel/Mail, if that is correct,
there is buttons for E-mail Accounts - Data Files - Show Profiles. Pardon if
I have not been correct to this point, and thanks!

Outlook 2002, then.

If you have only one profile, click E-mail Accounts. If you have more than
one profile, click Show Profiles, select your profile and click Properties,
then cluick E-mail Accounts. Select the radio button labeled "View or
change existing directories or address books" (the bottom one) and click
Next. Select the Outlook Address Book service and click Change. Remove the
bogus entry there. You will have to stop and restart Outlook for the change
to take effect.

Thanks for your patience and success here! It was mildly frightening to
delete since the 2 Contact Address entires were identical and I feared
deleteing the wrong one. But having proceeded and restarting Outlook it has
corrected. Again, many thanks!
