Missing Global Address List (after downgrade)

I have just had to downgrade a windows xp client back to Office 2003 Pro from
Office 2007 Pro+.
All appeared to go smoothly apart from Outlook now completely missing our
Exchange Global Address list.
All settings appear correct on the client machine and I am NOT running
cached exchange mode (although tried switching that on/off)
Obviously this appears to be a 'downgrade' issue and I wondered if anyone
here has hit similar problems when rolling back.
FYI the client PC only ever had Office 2007 Pro+ installed prior to rolling
back to 2003...
Any info, many thanks!

A new mail profile is in order when you change Outlook versions like this.
