I am attempting to restore my Outlook backup via the Import function in
Outlook 2007.  I exported my PST file to create a backup and then reformatted
my computer as I needed to.  I reinstalled Outlook and did an IMPORT of my
backed up PST file.

When it is restoring, I can see by the process indicator that it is
restoring the TWO contact groups I had set up.  One for my personal contacts
and one for my business contacts.

However, when I go to Contacts, it only show one contact group listed - my
personal contacts.  I can't seem to find the other group of contacts - my
business ones even tho' I am sure I saw during the restore process that is
was restoring my business contacts/group. (BTW - all my other info -
calendar, tasks etc. imported just fine.)

Any idea on how to find where this other group of contacts is hiding???
YIKES! I know it's there, I just can't find it!

TIA for any assistance.  If there is additional info needed, please advise
and I will do my best to provide.

There's your first mistake.  Importing is never the way to restore a backup.
You lose data.

This is your second mistake.  Exporting is not a good way to back up.  You
lose data.  Importing and exporting is to be used only when transferring
data between Outlook and some other application.  It should never be used to
transfer data between Outlook instances.

There's no such thing in Outlook as a "contact group".  Are you referring to
contact folders?

Try using the Folder List view and see if it is in the list.

For future reference, perform your backups by copying your data, not by
exporting/importing.
