I have created several views in Contact in the table form.  I would like to
export this list of contacts to an excel spreadsheet.  I was able to do this
with Office 2002, but have not been able to with 2007.

The closest I have come is to got to edit and "select all," then go to file
and "save as," but my only option is to save as a .txt file.  Said file does
not preserve the formating of the office view either.

Is there any way to do this?

In every version of Outlook, the only thing you can export is a folder. In
no version were you ever able to export a view.

Well, I used to do something like that with my old version, to keep a hard
copy of all my contacts, among other things.  I'll have to get back on that
computer and see what I did.

Or maybe it's just that the formatting options have been decreased (or I
can't find them on the ribbon) because I certainly can't print out lists in
the same manner that I could with previous versions.

Yes. You are confused. If you come up with a clear question, please be sure
to post it without changing subjects.
