In Outlook 2003 you could add a contact folder in that resided in a public
folder to group called Other contacts.  That feature does not appear to work
in Outlook 2007.  I've looked but cannot find any help features that address
the problem.

Did you try adding the contacts folder to the Public Folder Favorites
folder?

Yes, that works, but still cannot get a favorites link into contact view as
it was in 2003.  2003 had a group called "other contacts."  If you chose add
to favorites on a public folder contact list it add that favorite to the
"other contacts" group.

Oh.  I didn't understand that you were saying that the "Other Contacts"
section of the Nav Pane wasn't there.  I'll look at it.

I'm afraid I cannot test this.  I'm not allowed to put Outlook 2007 on a
company asset and I don't have a spare PC at home onto which I can install
Exchange.  Perhaps another MVP can help.
