I'm in need of a shared address book which can be used on a laptop in offline
mode.

I setup an address book in Public Folders which allows for sharing but does
not allow for offline sync.

I did not set this up as a shared personal folder since this would be used
company wide.

What's the best solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

hi Richard,

you can not synchronize an Address Book. An Outlook Addressbook is only a
special "view" of your contact folders.

If you want to have a Public Contact folder "offline" to use this contact
folder as Addressbook you must add this contact folder to your "Favorites":

"How to Work with Public Folders Offline"
http://www.intermedia.net/support/kb/default.asp?id=746

Maybe it helps.

Oliver, thanks for pointing me in right direction. The shared contacts folder
in public folders are available offline now.

And thanks for pointing me at the Intermedia site too.
