And I already replied to you regarding the mail transport. My answer

When asking how can I verify this, I didn't receive an answer. Sorry.
I only said, that I normally use another mail client, as an
information when chasing the error. But I didn't imply, that I don't
need the mail functions of Outlook at all.
In this case, for example, I need the "new message to contact" for the
following reason: Conforming to what is often suggested by Outlook-
MVPs, I avoid DL and rather stick to categories. So, if I want to
write a mail to a category - instead of a DL - I sort by category,
select a category and would then like to click on "new message to
contact", as it is suggested a lot of times in this forum.
There are also a couple of other reasons, why I'd need the "new
message to contact" menu command.
I would be very thankful, if you or someone else has an idea as to why
"new message to contact" is missing.

I already answered you. I told you there will be no such item until you have
Outlook configured as your email client.

Anyway, I have reinstalled Outlook and configured my mail account.
Still, I don't have "new message to contact".
Any other ideas?
