I'm trying to use 'email-merge' from Publisher but can't see the Exchange
Public Folder Contacts. So I tried to create a file from Outlook to a CSV.
But this appears to work also only with the Contacts and not with the Public
Folder Contacts.
Can anyone help me with this one?

make a new contacts folder - copy the PF contacts to it. Export from the new
folder. Delete the folder.

that reminds me of another method I keep forgetting - custom views. :)
This creates tab delimited data you can paste into notepad and save.
