I'm trying to do what so many others are doing - "transferring Outlook
Express 6 files to Vista from Windows XP".  I have go through the export
process and then try to import these files - I, for what ever reason, don't
seem to be producing a PST file.  Believe me I have looked - done numerous
searches and have even changed the default file location to the desk top.
Can someone please give me some advice and suggestions?  This certainly
should be easier than what I am finding!!
Thanks,
Duane

Outlook Express doesn't use a PST.  Only Office Outlook does.  If you're
trying to transfer Outlook Express messages, ask in an Outlook Express
newsgroup. microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general

If you had read the dialog box that appears when you select "Export" in
Outlook Express you would have seen that the Export function ONLY exports to
Office Outlook or to MS Exchange.

Have a look here on how to migrate addressbook, mail and account settings
from OE to WM:
