Hi
We have just purchased Outlook 2007 with BCM and are trying to work
out how we can automatically "link" our 7000 contacts to accounts on
the first import to BCM.  I thought there would be an easy solution to
this, however it seems to be proving me wrong.  Even Microsoft support
can't answer the question.
Can someone please help me with this one!!
Thanks

You neglected to mention one very important piece of information:

"on the first import to BCM" ............from what data source? (i.e.
another commercial product or your own set of files which would be in what
format?). If it's from another commercial product, the solution may be a 3rd
party product that specifically deals with "???? to Outlook BCM" migration.

That said, you would likely get a better answer in the Outlook.BCM group if
you provide all the specifics of the data you are trying to import.
Importing (contact processing) in BCM is handled differently than in
standard Outlook in so much as the actual contact data in Outlook BCM is
stored in a backend SQL database using Outlook as a front end for
presentation.
