I need to export thousands of contacts to Outlook.  I exporting from Access
2003.  Everything seems to be fine.  However, after exporting I get two (2)
listings for the same contact.  Under the E-mail Type column in Outlook
Address Book the difference is "SMTP" and "FAX".  What is the difference?  I
only need to have one contact name listed.? Can someone please explain?
Thank you.

The difference is clearly spelled out.  One address is an Email (SMTP)
address an the other is a FAX address.  If you do not want to see the FAX
number in the address book, remove the numbers from the Contact records or
modify them so Outlook cannot recognize them as FAX numbers, putting an "F"
in front of them, for example.
