Changing dialing properties in Outlook

I am trying to change the dialing properties in Outlook but receive the
following error.

"unable to complete an operation requested by automatic phone dailer, please
make sure modem, phone, and phone line are configured correctly.

Any idea?

Try the Phone and Modem options in Control Panel.
