After opening Outlook 2003 I get the following error message when trying to
address an email with my "Contacts"; as opposed to our "Global Address List".
The address list could not be displayed. An unsupported restriction was
passed into an IMAPITable method.
This locks Outlook and I have to use Task Manager to 'end task'.
I have tried various tasks listed in this discussion group such as creating
a new Outlook profile, checking for permissions and 'detect and repair'. I
have all of the latest patches and will try a complete uninstall & reinstall,
but don't have a lot of faith that working either.
Anyone have a suggestion?

I would have started with configuring the Outlook Address Book correctly.
Did you try that? Beyond that, you need to ask your Exchange administrator.
