MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / March 2008Contacts not showing up
Its seems there is somthing going on with my .NK2 file. When I email a contact initial he doesn;t appear then I go to my contact list add him to the To: field and compose and e-mail my message. The next day I start tyoping his name and his name doesn;t appear. can anyone shed some light on this? > Its seems there is somthing going on with my .NK2 file. The NK2 file remembers addresses to which you've sent mail regardless of whether or not they're in your Contacts folder.  SignatureBrian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] Brian thanks for your reply. This is exactly what im talking about: Even if I send mail to a person e-mail the next time i try and e-mail him and type his name into the To box: its doesn't show up. The usual fix is a new mail profile. After creating the new profile, rename the NK2 file to match the name of the new profile and it should work again.
