I created a new folder in outlook and mapped all the fields. Everything
worked wonderfully except the most important field: “E-mail”. In all the
email fields in the newly created outlook contacts, only the first letter of
the contacts’ email addresses imported. Do you know of any reason or solution
to this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Most important thing when mapping to the email field is to ensure that you
are mapping to the right one.

On the presumption that your Access database contains only SMTP email
addresses (in the form of somename@somedomain.com) - then you need to map
the field to one of the 3 actual email address fields (E-mail Address,
E-mail 2 Address, or E-mail 3 Address) which is accessible by expanding
(click on plus sign)  the corresponding E-mail, E-mail 2, or E-mail 3 fields
in the Outlook map list). Under normal circumstances there is never a need
to import data to the E-Mail Address Type and in fact should never be done
unless you know what you're doing and have the right values to insert which
correspond to the type of email address being imported. Outlook will always
default to SMTP as the Email AddressType.
